This one's the easiest, and it's probably pretty obvious, but get some pretty glasses or vases and wrap ribbon around them.

I'm guessing that for this, you can use styrofoam or cardboard to cut out the shapes, then decorate them like in the picture. You can have little red flowers, red and black wrapped candies, red music note confetti, etc.

This is the cutest, but most labour intensive centerpiece I've suggested. If you can find little white boxes, cut the tops off. You could also make your own from posterboard, but they won't look as finished because the sides will be taped together, not fluid. Better yet, find a cardboard box and wrap it in white paper. Anyhow, cut circles from black construction paper and glue them to the sides of the boxes to look like a die. Inside the box, place a small square of styrofoam in the bottom so you'll have something to stick the curly sticks into. Those sticks (or something similar) you can find at a craft store or a florist. Crumple up iridescent red and silver wrapping paper and stuff it in the box like on the picture, and garnish with glued-together playing cards.

Fill a wine glass with water and surround it with small balloons or balls in your colours, and put a little flower blossom or lighted candle in the water to float. A lot of glue will be necessary. : )

You can just go with the silver, or you can change the candle and jewelry colours. You can use a black candle and accent with shiny red costume jewelry.

only think of roughly what style of activities he likes to do as an occasion if he likes fishing you would be able to desire to place little fish bowls on the table with some cool rocks and flowers on the backside alongside with some distinctive colourful fish.
