Looking back at my questions, it struck me that I've been using Y!A for recording events of my life...Unintentionally :)) I can tell when my mother was sick, when she passed away, when I went on a vacation, when I went shopping etc. etc. Not only the real-life incidences or feelings, my virtual journey here, is also recorded same way...like, When I'm happy with my contacts and when upset!
Do you think we've started living a parallel life here?

Well if she is your best friend haven't you talked to her about the things in your Q&A's? She should of stopped when you told her to but every ones curiosity gets the better of them. She was wrong to do it when you made it ovious that you didn't want her to if she was that good of a friend she would of. It will piss you off if you have poured your heart out adn told all your problems it is as if she has read your diary. maybe you should talk to her about it to her face and tell her that you are mad that she knows but willdrop it if she stops tell people about it. She doesn't sound much of a friend if she has been like this to you she should of turned around and sed look i have read your question and am here if you need me not say nice question! She should insensitive! No you were not in the wrong but just try and get along coz of your other firends you don't want to get them stuck in the middle. Just be careful who is added to your fans and check them regurlary to make sure it aint any other friends tryin to do it as well.. Hope everything workes outx
I look back often. I have used Y/A as a public speaking primer. my answers and my questions have slowly improved over time. I also find it interesting that I have learned to deal better with impatience, ignorance and listening. Also dealing with those traits in others. It has given me a chance to see myself over a period of years and see who I really am. In a manner of speaking, the record could be considered a diary I guess, but not of the traditional sense.
Mostly, I have found good people here. Able to answer questions from a variety of walks, lending a picture of world views that could not be achieved in any other way.
It is personal in a very public way, with a lot of persons being personal.
Yes, that's it! It is a very public, personal diary for an entire society. A record of living and thinking and feeling. A sample of people daring to be remembered in word and thought.
In other ways it is a guest book. Either way it is good and I thank you for it.
I have with some details and not in the sense that you do. My intent in adding details about my life would be pertinent to the question I answered or for the few questions I asked. Where you and I differ is when most of the few details I describe have happened way before I even learned about Yahoo Answers.
Of course it may surprise me how often I have done so without realizing it!

Yes, the last 2/3 years of my life is quite well documented on Y!/A and a lot of things I couldn't say in life got said on here instead.

I agree and have found it to be a blessed curse, of sorts...a way to remember the trials, but also record the moments of hilarious laughter...it's there...even the weeks and/or months I was "away" from Y/A for one reason or another are inadvertently recorded in time. God bless the power of cyber-ism.

very very true at least for me i can not hide my feeling even though i know this is virtual world and many will not understand of which i am going through....but touch wood some are here who are happy when i am happy and sad when i am down.
