Give the empirical formula that corresponds to each of the following molecular formulas
a. sodium peroxide, Na2O2!
b. terephthalic acid, C8H6O4!
c. phenobarbital, C12H12H2O3
d. 1,4-dichloro-2-butene, C4H6Cl2
I absolutely have NO idea how to do this. He didn't give us the mass percentages so how Do I do this? Explain step by step for one of them please with an answer so I know if i got it right.
Update:OH OKAY! I thought it was that but I wasn't quite sure. Thank you <3

All you need to do is reduce the chemical formula to the simplest whole number ratio of atoms.
e.g. C8H6O4 becomes C4H3O2
It's as esay as that.
