these are incomplete , which is the products and reactants, there needs to be a sufficient space or arrow indicating the product, more or less, it oxidises if it losses electrons, if it gains electrons its a reduction equation.
i.e
oxidised form of Permangenate Sol.-n = MnO4-(aq), reduced form = Mn2+
when the MnO4- is reduced there would be a colour change from purple to colourless,
