AVG is my favorite. I've had Norton, and the free version of AVG is better.

Because free programs are never completely as secure as the programs you are paying for I always recommend to install a combination of programs.

But I also recommend using at least 3 anti virus systems at the same time.

At the moment on my computer I have: Avast!, Avira Antivir, Spyware - Search and Destroy and AVG.

I also have COMODO firewall.

I use the free versions and they work perfectly.
