I am going to NYC later this summer with one other person, and we are looking for a hotel near either the JFK or LaGuardia airport. We would like a pretty nice hotel, in the mid 100s price range, hopefully. We are going to a concert near there, and are hoping to be able to sleep there, go to a bus station that will take us to a subway, and go into the city. Anyone who knows a good, moderatley priced hotel, please respond! Thanks!

Yes, LaGuardia is closer than JFK. Newark is an option. Personally, I find the most convenient transport to be the express bus which will take you from either airport and stops at most of the hotels in Manhattan for less than $20. Sharing a taxi is good if you are with other people. The subways and trains are not that great as you have to transfer which might be a hassle if you have luggage.
Most of the chains have a hotel near JFK like the Radison and I think Days Inn is there and several others. I don't know about priced at the mid 100's, mid 200's would be more like it unless you want to go to someplace like the Kennedy which is one of those "other hotels' kind of hotel. I do not recommend you do that, unless you really know what you are doing and as visitors, I already know you don't.
You will find many.
