how do I do a casual audry hepburn look?

The easiest look would be to imitate her very simple elegance
-all black: Capri pants, long sleeve fitted tee of mock turtleneck, simple but pretty ballet slipper shoes.
Natural makeup shades, and simple earrings as your only accessory

The problem with a casual Hepburn look is that it was so simple that people wouldn't recognize who you're trying to be. She wore slim dark capris or long pants with long sleeve plain tops (like a form fitting tee) with ballet flats or classic loafers with white socks (anklets with the top up but not the thick athletic socks. Her hair was usually short or up in a ponytail with this look. See what I mean? I doubt anyone could tell it was Audrey.
I'd go in the classic slim black dress with the enormous black hat, big earrings, and carry a long cigarette holder as a prop. Otherwise, people won't get it. Sorry...
