Sometimes a screw type hose clamp can be used to retain the end of a CV boot if the clamp has come loose. Remove the old, loose clamp, measure it's length to buy a replacement screw clamp and inch longer, fully unscrew the screw type clamp and wrap around the seating area, re-screw and tighten down - voila!
