You can only delete questions that you asked, and you can only do that while they are still 'open'. Once a question is in 'voting' or has been resolved via a Best Answer being chosen, the question belongs to Y!A and is in their database forever (or until they start archiving old Q&As anyway).
You can also email Yahoo Customer services at [email protected] or [email protected] and ask for them to delete the question for you. In your email include the link to the question you want deleted, explain why you want it deleted and ask them to delete it for you
To delete your question while it's still open, go to the question page, pass your mouse over the pencil icon in the toolbar below your question, and click on Delete Question.
If the question is open, then just click on the question, edit and delete.
If the question is resolved then you cannot delete it, you can always email the Yahoo Team and explain about your personal info and ask them to delete it. The final decision to delete the question would be down to the Yahoo Team.
If you have let your question go to the public vote (and it has the personal info in it) then you could try voting No Best Answer and hope that no one else has voted, and the question will be deleted.
You can't delete a question that's in voting or is resolved. You can only delete an open question. To do that go the the Edit link (pencil icon) on the Action Bar beneath your question and you will find the option to delete it there. If you aren't finding it and you are on a mobile Answers app, switch to Desktop mode first.
If a resolved question is a community guidelines violation or if it contains personal contact information then the Y! Answers Team might delete it upon request (send a link to the question along with your request to [email protected]).
Be aware by deleting your question you will not get a refund of the 5 points you spent asking, and you lose the opportunity to earn 3 points for choosing a Best Answer to your question.
If the Question is still open, just click the "Delete" hyperlink to the bottom right of the question. You will be asked to confirm that this really is what you want to do. Click the "Yes" button. The question will be deleted from the display. Just Refresh the screen. You may have to wait for the question to disappear from the display if the computer network is busy.
Some people REALLY should take a GOOD look at their answers, because the "Delete" hyperlink is relatively new. I wish SOME people would STOP "copying" my OLD ANSWERS.

If it hasn't been resolved yet, go to your question and right under it there's an 'edit' button ^^
