How to decide between L.A to NY?
For example, west LA or New-York brooklyn?
any ideas?
Update:by L.A I mean west hollywood and NY @ brooklyn.
In L.A I have a friend that I could stay in his place until I get along. Hes a business-man and spend 3 weeks a month abroad.
This is a huge dilema for me.
Update 3:I will not live in Manhattan. If I live in brooklyn for example, I still do not need a car? the subway get me to everywhere I need?

L.A. is pretty spread out - you would probably need a car there, but of course they do have buses.
In NYC, many people don't have cars. Brooklyn and the other boroughs are all connected to Manhattan and each other by subway, and there are buses, too. The subways have been cleaned up and subway crime is now under control. No reason to be afraid of the subways.
You will probably have to live in an apartment in NYC. If you must have a house, choose L.A.
The cost of living is high in both cities, but of course there are low-end neighborhoods in both, and not all of them are slums.

I would say NY due to the ease of getting around from place to place on the subway etc.
no car, then no choice it must be NY.
besides LA is probably the worst city in the States as the people are so fake and they care for nothing but themselves. while the rest of the country has much nicer people.
besides NY is much more exciting and interesting and has more to offer, so enjoy.

i dont know if you know this already but the subways in ny are the scariest and most disgusting things on earth and you wouldnt want to ride them everyday, trust me
dont get me wrong i love ny, but truthfully , its overrated especially the shopping lol

This city is awesome and amzing I have basically lived there my whole life it is great with tons of things to do and all around good weather. NY is cool but too many people and the apartments are so small for so much money

new york city is good for having no car the subways are great
NY because you mostly walk or take a subway
l.a is sexier depends on your age lol
