How to ride a public bus.?
Okay well I live in new York and want to get to northcarolina by bus, what would be all the steps of doing so. I'm 16 and can't buy plane tickets so yeah this is a other option. Like where do I get a bus pass, do I need one, how do I know what bus to take, can I have luggage, would it be safe, etc etc. Please help and answer to the best of your knowledge.

First go to www.greyhound.com to find out when the bus runs there and what it will cost.
Go to the nearest depot as indicated on the web site. In NYC that would likely be the Port Authority bus depot. Buy the ticket at the window under the sign that says TICKETS. They will tell you what gate to show up at.
Watch the other people and just follow them boarding and do what they do.
You can have luggage.
It is safer than driving but less safe than flying.
