Yeah I have the exact same processor and it plays it pretty good...it can defiantly do it, the dual core really helps...but yes it will work

If you mean "Intel Pentium Dual-Core E2140 1.60GHz 800MHz 1MB Skt 775 CPU" then you prbly wont be playing halo at its best. you will need a better processor, at least core 2 duo

and like the person stated above me, it does depend on other factors like memory and video card. they are both important factors. you should get at least 3gbs of memory if u are running on vista and a geforce 8800gt for the video card but make sure your power supply is at least 400Watts

I think your processor is fine, in the requirements, when it says 2GHz, it is probably talking about a single core CPU. I wouldn't worry so much about your processor, is your video card good enough?

There are two other factors however that will make a difference on your gameplay...

First of all, have 4 gigs of ram (this you could add yourself)

Second is Video Card...hopefully you have a decent one.

Enough memory usually makes up for almost any hardware deficiency.
