A few days ago we had a huge storm that caused us to lose power for about 13 hours. Shortly before the storm, I turned off my laptop but left it plugged in.
Now, everytime I turn it on I end up on the screen where it states that Windows did not start normally; giving the options of Safe Mode...etc.
Whatever I choose, it will always end up starting to load on the Windows XP part but then restarts itself. I've changed the cables and such but it still does that.
I've went into options and it hasn't turned itself off so I'm guessing that I can rule out a power shortage.
I really don't have the money to send my computer in, is there any way to fix it?
