Whenever i turn on my computer, everything is fine. I log in, then i exit some programs like MSN messenger, but after like 2 minutes, my computer freezes, and i cannot acces ANY programs. Not even the flash from the start menu when you mouse over it appears. I can freely move my mouse, yet it is useless. How should I fix this? I can access alot of things until my "time" is out, for like 20-30 seconds though...

Use Msn messenger requires your RAM and free space to be function properly. Chat programs must have a free space to load temporary data. The program loads into your RAM. If you are low on either RAM or free space, your computer is bound to choke.
First question is when was the last time you cleaned your registry. Having a corrupted registry can cause a whole host of errors and problems. Freezing up is one of them. If you have a lot of unnecessary registry keys that are hogging up your computer resources. Your computer is bound to choke. Scan your registry with a good registry cleaner. If you pull up more than 20 errors or duplication, clean your registry.
Clear your Windows cache files, this is your temporary file. It can grow up to a large volume and stop your computer from using RAM properly. In a sense slow it down by preventing it from using free space. Here is how:
1. Quit Internet Explorer, Firefox, or any other web browser
2. Click Start, click "Control Panel", and then double-click "Internet Options".
3. On the General tab, click "Delete Files" under Temporary Internet Files.
4. In the Delete Files dialog box, click to select the "Delete all offline content" check box , and then click OK.
5. Click OK.
Hope this helps!

Right, Sometimes the results of crashing are prompted by means of one million) Too many techniques jogging directly otherwise you clicking whatever constantly with pace. two) You have an infectious software in your laptop e.g Limewire is famous for viruses and even though I use it myself I had been advised that MSN messenger eats up your laptop three) You have a plague in your laptop so you probably have performed or have any of subject aspects then I advocate you uninstall the software or take it to a fix keep.
Have you installed any new programs lately if so delte and see if that helps. If XP restore the computer to an earlier time and see if ti helps. Run a virus scan and see if there is anything there, if you can that is.
