If I buy an unopened Intel desktop CPU from someone on ebay, will the warranty still be valid for me? The seller doesn't have any additional information to ship - just the new CPU box.
Update:So even if the seller doesn't have the original receipts/retail information, everything I need is in the box?

If it's in a RETAIL box and comes with the default cooling fan and such, then yes, the warranty applies.
Bare in mind, though, it's easy to blow up a CPU which isn't covered under warranty.
If the seller is promoting "unopened" this and that but it doesn't have the Intel hologram stickers, etc. that seal the box closed - it's more likely the OEM version and THAT warranty is almost nothing.
Good luck!
PS: NOBODY has been buying computer parts "online" for 24 years. The WWW hasn't even existed for that long and prior to the "web" we had college/government networks called FreeNet (Freedom of Speech) which was non-commercial. Some people...
Intel Cpu Warranty
That is a tricky one in theory yes but in reality probably not .
You need to speak to the seller about this as i would never buy parts from Ebay .
As long as the box is un-opened and the warranty is included in the box the warranty should be good.
genuinely a large purchase. Hook it as much as a working laptop or laptop and... OMG! It in many cases sells for a lot extra, so which you get carry of an particularly stable deal for basically $134. I prefer i could get a deal like that!
