It works the same as any other fishing rod. Go into your bag and use it while facing water. I recommend setting it to the Select button so you don't have to go into your bag each time.

It's as simple as using a Good Rod..

Walk up to a body of water that is necessary,

Check your bag for the Super Rod, Select it, and your good to go.
