pregnant / ultrascan?
I have been having painful periods since i was 15. I have been to the doctors and have waited for an ultrasound to come through. problem is i think i maybe pregnant, the ultrasound is in 3 weeks which would mean i would be around 5 weeks pregnant
when i have the ultrasound, if i am pregnant will the doctor be able to see the sack? or find a heart beat? or would this be too early

Should be able to see a sac and the baby (no more than a dot) inside. Heartbeat is probably too early yet but they could do an ultrasound vaginally to check for a beat.
I had a suspected ectopic pregnancy at 5 weeks and they could see the sac and baby just fine but it was too small to see the heartbeat.
Why don't you take a test first though?
I had an ultrasound at 5 weeks and they could see the sack but the baby and heartbeat were too small to detect. At 6 weeks the heartbeat was detectable.
Make sure you tell the doctor you think you could be pregnant
Yes, you will be able to see a sack but it will probably just be a small dot that you will be able to see on the screen. You should take a test to make sure before you go and then you would know either way!
At five 5weeks if your not lucky the U/S may not detect a heart beat or a sac.
It might be still too early
But if your blood works are done a pregency can would be detected if you are.
