3 days ago I noticed my comp was being kind of slow. I ran a scan using Norton and it didn't find any thing. I just defragmented it, but no change is speed.
2 days ago I deleted and then reinstalled Zoo Tycoon 2 Ultimate Collection but the shortcut didn't come, so I added my own. I then restarted my laptop just to find that the shortcut that should of been there in the first place decided to pop up, along with the one I put on myself. I then deleted the shortcut I put, just to see it was still on my desktop. I tried deleting it again, but it said it was not found. Annoyed, I just shut off the comp for the night.
Yesterday the shortcut I tried deleting was will there and said the same thing about it not being found. I did check disk, defragmented again, ran a deep scan, and still no changes. I gave up and shut my laptop off for the night.
Today I turned on my laptop and out of no where to my horror (Ok, not really, I wasn't suprised, it just scared me) it said that there were startup problems so it took awhile then restarted itself and came on.. I am running another scan now and deleted alot of stuff.
I am starting to freak out because I just got this windows 7 laptop a few months ago, it is a Aspire Acer and still has a lot of space on it. It does have overheating problems and disk speed is very fast, but what is going on now??
Update:Just cleaned registry, Thanks for letting me know about Ccleaner. My laptop is working a lot faster now, but I also deleted a lot of stuff, too. It let me delete icons also. My scan just got done.
