right i have the sims double deluxe , i got it about 5 years ago ,its the oldest sim game i think , but i want to play it and ive put it in my computer which is windows vista, i dont think the game can go on with windows vista as the game was invented before windows vista

first problem was that i didnt have enough RAM , but i went on with the installastion and it warned me my computer may be slow in the future because of this

second problem ,

while its installing it says

installing:

C:/.../The Sims/UIGrapicas.far

and its on 4%

and then it comes up with

Component transfer error in a little box and i press ok and the installation turns off ,

ive attempted it lots of times and all the time it goes the same ,

anyone can help me ,
