Special ops question?
You guys are dropped off with just a knife most of the time. If u were dropped in a forest, how would you survive? Need instructions on how you keep alive. Just the basics. If some boot camp army vagina face tells me to get a survivalist guide again I will not be happy. I have one. Want to hear from an actually survivalist.

Spec Ops have some of the most advance training and gear in the U.S. Military. They are not just dropped off with a knife.
What scenario are you looking for?
Are the spec op operatives going to complete a mission?
Or are the spec ops operatives in an escape and evade situation where they need to survive off of the land?
Actually combat knives are still an issued item! It depends on your branch and MOS.
The Army has the ASEK Survival Knife
For example, aviation flight personnel are issued huge survival knives, and so is any unit that falls under Joint Special Operations Command. (JSOC)
If you had just a knife and your goal was to survive I would say build a shelter near a water source, then find food. Everything else is extra.
