I need a time lapse video camera, or camera( i dont know what there called exactly) i need it so that i can record myself painting and drawing for speed painting videos. I usually do them over a couple days, so i need to be able to stop and resume, or something like that. All together it can take like 9 hours, so something that would make that a smaller file so i can edit it. Please give me the name and brand of any products that could do this, i already have a regular nice camera, but it only takes pics and normal video. It has to be under 100$....i can prob buy a used one to make it cheaper though. Thanks for all who answers!

There are two ways to do time lapse.
1) Take a series of stills, then use a video editor to tie them together and export the video. Don't move the camera for the duration of the project. Some Sony camcorders have "interval recording" where the still is captured every "X" seconds. You set "X".
2) Use a video camera and when editing, speed up the video a LOT.
Most video capture devices make a new file when stopped - then started again. Tie the video clips together with a video editor. You did not tell us what "regular nice camera" you have is so we don't know if the "normal video" it can capture will do what you want when edited or if your computer already has an editor (Windows comes with MovieMaker; Macintosh comes with iMovie).
