ok i have a radeon 5450 amd fx 4100 and 4gb ram can i play this game on low to medium settings and record gameplay ? will the quality be ok standard or damn right awful?

No. it wouldnt run on your wooden computer
I have a 5830 and a 1.8GHz Dore2Duo with 2 GB RAM, it lags a bit but it's playable. I think you should do (but I'm not too sure about that GPU).
I wouldn't get my hopes up regarding recording.
