Well no specs have really been released about Windows 7......so there is really no way to tell...I guess though if your laptop costs 3 grand it should be able to
No one can tell you for sure, it is expected to be released in early 2010, still a long way to go. And I don't think we can expect any details about system requirements till late 2009.
If you look back, you’d see that Notebooks released around 1.5 years before Vista came out, were still able install Vista (with few exceptions, like Aero interface). But they weren’t able to give the intended experience nor the performance. I guess same will hold true for current hardware and upcoming Windows 7. You might be able to install it, but whether or not you can effectively use it is a different problem altogether.
To me for my area it is in simple terms yet another OS launch. i do no longer probably desire to assert that i could no longer care much less, yet to be honest with you i'd be telling lies if I reported i replaced into excited on the topic of the launch. i hit upon that for well-known use, I nonetheless use Win XP so plenty extra effective than Vista. i'll confess that the only reason i've got been given Vista contained in the 1st place is to take exhilaration in Flight Sim X. If domicile windows 7 launch seems to be as bugged as Vista, then i think of it is going to incredibly plenty sign the top of MS domination as all of us know it. And multi-touch exhibit screen potential is super, yet what stable does it do to an general consumer, incredibly whilst the hardware expenditures would positively be extreme to commence off with.
