A lot of the "older" crew doesn't like it and hate the change but then a lot of the younger people (20s and under) really like it. You don't have to do the HDD/Game copy thing because you'd run out of Hard drive in no time but it does help a tiny bit if you're ever in a rush to play a game.

There aren't a ton of new features but the main focus right now are the Avatars, they're easily customizable but still a little limited. The Party feature is a big hit also, you can chat with up to 8 people on any given game and come and go as you please. Another thing is easier Video viewing, I haven't tried it yet but a lot of people seem to like it.

Also the whole dashboard and just altogether setup has changed a lot, I think it's a lot more fluid and easier to use once you're used to it, but thats just my opinion.

- When I logged into XBox live, the new experience update downloaded automatically (looked a little bit like the WII interface). I then played online for a little while, and then decided to do some more offline playing. When I logged off of my Live game, and then went to play one of my saved games, the only thing I could do was "Start a New Game" ...ALL My DATA (achievements and gamer score) for every game I had on my hard drive was gone (although something is still using 48 out of 60 Gigs on my hard drive). It seems to me that this was directly related to the interface download since that was the only difference from any other time I played.

Yes the 360 rules, Oh and the update is MANDITORY, well unless you dont have live. It DOSENT force you to rip game onto the hard drive, but it makes the game run faster if ya choose. You get to make an avatar, and now you can have an 8 party chat(amazing) Hope this helps. Oh and I LOVE IT!!!

when you consider which you haven't any longer have been given xbox stay then attempt determining to purchase a sparkling interest and that interest could have the replace for the nxe. in case you cant then ask certainly one of ur pals in case you could borrow certainly one of their NEW video games and it could have the replace. if that dosent paintings then call Microsoft and ask them in the event that they have the nxe on a utility disk. thats what i did to get the backwards compatibility and all i paid became into the delivery which became into like a million greenback. wish that help!!!

i haven't gotten it yet cuz my xbox is broken but u can create avatars on the new setup and if u have a netflix account u can watch movies on ur xbox. My friend said that it is alot easier to use than the old one

i dont know the full feature list but it does not force you to rip games to your hard drive
