You can get a yeast infection anywhere that is warm and moist. I.E. folds of skin, butthole, bellybutton. Sounds like a yeast infection there as well. Put some antifungal there too AND starve it to get rid of it quicker. The yeast feeds on carbohydrates and sugars. Be real strict about this and do not consume any sugar or carbs. The yeast will starve and die. Also, keep the area clean and dry and apply talc free baby powder or cornstarch. Sleep without underwear at night so it can breathe, yeast hate that.
The starving works best when the yest is places where veins are apparent and the area is sensitive and has lots of bloodflow. But it might work for your crack too. you really don't want it spreading and actually going UP your butt.
HA! Yes! Okay, so last Thanksgiving, we had the entire family over our house and a few great family friends. My sister had jeans that were riding kind of low, so she decided not to wear underwear that day. She was helping my mom cook in the kitchen and walked out for a second to get some fresh air. She bent down to wedge her foot into her shoe and her jeans slid down a little. I didn't say anything because I figured she had noticed...a draft. Well, boy was I wrong! When she came back in, almost half of her butt crack was exposed! So my other sister and I tried so hard to make subtle hints to her because there were a lot off people around and that situation would have made things awkward. My other sister was like "Did I tell you that joke?" to me. I said "yea I was CRACKING up." and it went on for 5 more minutes before she finally realized what we were talking about :P Good luck with your book! :)
Sounds like the yeast infection, put some of the anti fungal medication there too.
