Vivitar Camera "card error" ?
My knowledge on this subject is VERY limited.
i just put a "Sandisk" memory card into my new vivitar 7022 camera.
is there a difference between a memory card and what i have...it says adapter on it...(i feel so stupid!)
i put it in and it says "card error"
help?

Make sure your camcorder can take San Disk. It probably takes a certian card or the SD card might be upside down.
Check first if the cards are SD or SDHC. Your camera might be compatible to SD only. If the problems occurs with the correct card type and the card is new, the camera needs replacing already.
pull the card out and re-insert. the most likely problem is the card was not seated properly in the slot.
