epiphone dot studio or epiphone les paul 100?

i like acdc and guns n roses. I know slash in guns n roses uses les paul so you will probably say les paul. But i prefer the epiphone so does the epiphone sound good to that genre of music? Also is the epiphone a good accoustic?
