Ok so ages ago my mum agreed i could have a halloween party. then she started taking over and inviting her friends and buying childish decorations and telling my brothers and sisters what to wear.
lots of people decided not to come anyway, so i had about four people coming to a fancy dress party that my mum had taken over, which was going to be terrible anyway.
So i told my friends i decided not to have a party any more. and my mum went mad. saying she bought these costumes and decorations for me, and her and her friends would have a brilliant time instead.
Now we're not talking and she's making me feel guilty. what can I do? :(
Update:i kinda already un invited everyone.

Sit down and try and have a mature talk with her. Tell her that you felt that she was taking over your party by choosing who to invite, what to do and how to organize the whole party. Be respectful and mature, so try not to yell or scream, just tell her that none of your friends wanted to come after they heard what was going on and it how it has made you feel.
Good luck!
politely explain to her how it made you feel when she started taking over, and didn't consider how you wanted to decorate or who to invite. Be nice and respectful, but get your point across :)
have the party.
