If possible, have your parents make an appointment for you to see a dermatologist. If you can't do that, I would suggest using products that aren't as harsh. A lot of times those products dry your skin out excessively, which in turn causes more problems. I suggest using Cetaphil, which is a very very gently cleanser and recommended my virtually all dermatologists. There is also a product by Johnson & Johnson called oil-free blackhead scrub, which works very well. Try using the Cetaphil in the morning and the scrub at night, and nothing else, for a few weeks and see what happens.
I have had acne for years - I'm 32. After years of trying everything and having my skin get worse, I discovered chemical peel pads from Avon. I have very oily skin and these pads strip away all the excess oil and dead skin. I even took Accutane, just to have my skin break out again within months of finishing. But these pads from Avon really work.
One other thing that's very important - don't go to bed at night with a dirty face. Sometimes it's very tempting to go to bed and think that one night won't hurt - well, that's all it takes to start a fresh crop of pimples!
I do not have anything inexpensive to recommend to you.
On the one hand it is a very strong medicine, but it does have a 99% success rate at treating acne. It is roaccutane. It will also tighten the pores.
I pretty much tried everything from clearasil to proactive to birth control pills. Do not waste your time because they do not work.
Before I became in my 20's, I used to think my acne problem will be resolved and it is a teenage problem. This did not happen to me. Do not wait and say the problem will resolve itself, because the longer you wait, the more scarring you will have. There are treatments out there.
I know this sounds completely gross..buy egg whites!
No lie- I've tried this. Beat one egg white (ONLY THE EGG WHITE!!!) Next apply it to your face and let it dry for 15 minutes. You should feel tightening, which is good because that means your pores are being refined! After that just wash your face of, the way you normally do. You should be left with tighter and brighter skin! I've done this a couple of times, and I've been pleased with my results.
Yes, if you use the correct skincare products, your skin will improve. First of all you have to cleanse your face regularly not when you feel like washing your face and with proper cleanser to cleanse off the oil on your face. Normally oily skin will have open pores.
