Tax return lodge question! Help!!?
The final page of the tax return when it says your estimated amount of money u get back says 2988 but above it says offset in a grey coloured text saying offset 1500 what's this mean? Does it mean that I will not get 2988 back?

No if it says your estimated refund is $2988 thats what you will be getting back (less if you have a HECs debt)
A tax offset is a credit to you included in the $2988 figure, could possibly be a low income tax offset.
