can anyone help me translate this to latin. i wana do a tattoo but cant seem to find the correct translation for it.
1. my family is my ocean, my earth, my life
2. my family is my light

o.O What does it mean "My family is my ocean."? xD
Latin isn't a no-sense language... everything have a sense. So I can just translate:
My family is my life. = Mea familia vita mea est.
I can translate the other sentences litterally:
My family is my earth. = Mea familia terra mea est.
My family is my ocean. = Mea familia oceanus meus est.
My family is my light. = Mea familia lux mea est.
But remember that in Latin they haven't a sense.
