why wont my compa presario c500 lap top turn on.?
when i plug in the charger it will not power on,only the orange charge lite comes on. the battery is completely dead. i bought a new charger and battery still no luck..

It's broken. Unfortunately, it's very hard to discover the source of the problem without poking at it.

Try holding the power button down for more than 10 seconds.
Then hit the power button again.
This sometimes solves this problem with laptops.
