On startup, I'm seeing a warning message that says that the system has found an invalid serial number.
----------
Product Information not valid
The following product information programmed into the system board is missing or invalid.
System Board (00A) - Product Name
System Board (00A) - Product Number
ENTER - Continue Startup
----------
I used to get this message after I sent my computer in for service. It probably indicates that a technician replaced the system board or component but failed to input the new serial number in the system.
So how do I get rid of this?

Take it back to the technician and tell them.
They need to run HPBQ138.EXE to get it to accept the new motherboard ID.
