This is a temporary problem. The problem you are describing is happening to many users at the same time. That usually means that Yahoo is working on the site. Earlier today the message "Yahoo Answers is currently unavailable" kept appearing when users would hit Submit. Another sign that something is going on. Yahoo seldom tells us what they are doing so everyone tries the usual things: hit refresh, use a different browser, clear cookies..... but none of them is working today. The problems appear and disappear without warning.

This happens every year when Yahoo does maintenance. It clears up in 1-7 days. Not everyone is affected at the same time. Which results in many users saying that they are having no troubles while hundreds can not open their mail or use their accounts.
